COLUMBUS, Minn., Minnesota News reports that at Running Aces Games, Hotel & Racetrack, one Minnesota-bred horse has captured national attention this season.

Owned by Quentin Schneider and driven by 22-year-old Aaron Lehman, Lilah has won 15 of her 19 starts this year, a record that surpasses thousands of competitors across the continent.

“We’ve had an incredible season with her,” Schneider said following another victory. “You search through hundreds of horses looking for one with this kind of talent. It doesn’t happen often.”

Minnesota News outlets have highlighted Lilah’s dominance, noting that her results place her ahead of horses racing on major tracks and smaller fairgrounds alike. Darin Gagne, Running Aces track announcer and Assistant Racing Director, emphasized the scale of her achievement. “Out of thousands of horses competing nationwide, Lilah has earned the most horse racing wins this season. That is something special,” Gagne said.

Lilah’s partnership with Lehman began earlier this year, and the duo’s connection was immediate. Lehman recalls his surprise at her performance during their first race together. “I didn’t know what to expect, but she was ready. We ended up winning, and we were 40-1 on the board,” he said.

Since then, Lilah has consistently been a favorite, often trailing in the early stages before making a powerful push in the final stretch. Spectators at Running Aces have responded enthusiastically to her style, making her races a highlight of the season. Minnesota News reports have noted that her performances have brought significant attention to the local racing scene.

Off the track, Lilah’s calm temperament has made her a joy to handle. “She’s like a sweet pet,” Schneider said. “She can win a race, then lower her head and let you lead her around with just two fingers. She’s proud of her work.” Lehman adds that her balance of competitiveness and composure makes her remarkable.

Minnesota harness racing has seen growing interest in recent years, with Running Aces serving as a key venue. For a Minnesota-bred horse like Lilah to achieve national recognition is rare and highlights the quality of local breeding and training programs. Minnesota News sources confirm that her 2025 campaign has boosted attention to the state’s racing community.

With just a few races remaining this season, Schneider is focused on keeping Lilah in peak condition. “Her happiness and health come first,” he said. Lehman sees this job as one that sets his work path. “He said, “Having a horse like this to drive so early in my work is something I’ll never forget.”

From no one knowing her to being the horse with the most race wins in North America, Lilah has shown that being calm, having skill, and working as a team can lead to an amazing year. Minnesota News coverage underscores that her 2025 record will be remembered well beyond the final race.
