Those who adore horses have a reason to cheer up since the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) has brought back its annual Off to the Races benefit auction, which is essentially a special sale, whose proceeds go to retired racehorses, a platform where a melted wheelchair is climbing a mountain. This time, it’s all happening online, and let me tell you, they’ve got some VIP racing experiences up for grabs that you won’t find anywhere else. Imagine getting backstage passes to the world of horse racing! The best part? All the money goes straight to the TAA’s programs that take care of these majestic animals. So, not only do you get to feel like a high-roller Off to the races, but you’re also doing something really kind for the horses.

19 VIP packages will enable the holder to take part in the racing grounds and be part of some of the most popular racing days in 2025 and 2026 through 2025 Off to the Races benefit auction. There are also special tickets included in these packages that give entry and a variety of events on well-known tracks all over North America. The auction, which offers various activities from guided tours to exclusive meet-and-greets, creates a closer connection between horse racing fans and the sport.

Emily Dresen is leading funding and events at TAA and is extremely pleased to announce our 2025 VIP Auction “We are excited to launch our 2025 VIP Auction, which offers fans a chance to experience some of the most iconic racetracks in North America. This event, which is dedicated to horse racing, also provides aftercare to the retired Thoroughbred racehorses. Every dollar raised contributes to our mission of providing quality care for these horses after their racing careers conclude.”

During the auction, all the funds raised will be donated to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, which is a charity that’s really dedicated to looking out for horses that have retired from racing. They’re like the guardian angels for these majestic animals, making sure they get the right care, helping them recover if they need it, teaching them new skills, and ultimately find loving homes through various programs they support.

With more than 80 organizations recognized in North America, the TAA has set a high bar for the caring and respecting of race track horses, thus making sure that the ones that have retired are given the opportunities to lead fulfilling lives other than racing.

Off to the Races, the racecourse carting is a time-of-year wonderness, where love, rather than cruelty, is the object of the celebration. It is an opportunity for the retired to transfer head to head and the races will be recorded on the fixture as well. Whereas / Moreso by joining the auctions, supporters donate the necessary funds to afford the aftercare services. These services will enable these horses to transition into new roles or simply enjoy a safe and comfortable life.

The TAA’s efforts are made possible through contributions from donors, participants, and industry partners. Events like this auction play a key role in sustaining the organization’s impact and expanding its reach.

The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance invites everyone to join the Off to the Races benefit auction and contribute to the ongoing care of retired racehorses. Whether you are a dedicated horse racing fan or simply wish to support a good cause, this event provides a meaningful way to get involved.
